Counsellor and Psychotherapist

I work within the BACP standards for ethical pratice and am committed to regular training and continuing professional development. I am fully insured. My belief is that the quality of the relationship between the client and the counsellor is at the heart of the healing process.

I have experience and expertise in dealing with a wide range of issues including:

  • Bereavement (accredited Cruse bereavement counsellor since 2008)
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Low self-esteem
  • Identity
  • Personal development and potential
  • Relationships
  • Work related stress

I work with adults and young people.

I offer an initial consultation which will be 1 hour long and carries no obligation. This session provides an opportunity to see if therapy will be beneficial to you and whether we feel we can work together. If you decide to go ahead, my sessions are 50 minutes long and can be once or twice weekly. We will meet at a regular time to be mutually agreed at the start of therapy. My fees are £45 per session and I require 48 hours notice of cancellation.

My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgemental, confidential therapeutic space in which to explore what is troubling you.
